Ruth Mae Thompson

            Ruth Thompson, 94, of Harrisburg, NC, formerly Desloge, passed away November 30, 2016. She was born April 20, 1922, in Fremont, to the late William and Bertha (McBay) White. Ruth was a member of the First Freewill Baptist Church in Park Hills.

             She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Thompson; and two siblings, Elmer White and Virginia Morris.

             Ruth is survived by her daughter, Joan Brown of Charlotte, NC; one grandson, Nicholas Brown; nieces and nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Morris, Shirley Baxter, Mr. and Mrs. Terry Cole, Larry Cole, and Jerry “Chub” Cole; great nieces and nephews, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Fish, Mr. and Mrs. Ken Baxter, Mr. and Mrs. Dave Blanton, Lauren and Katie Baxter, Eric Burger, and Steven Fish. She will be sadly missed by her friends in both Missouri and North Carolina.

             Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, December 5, 2016 from 11:00 AM until service time at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre.
