Ruth Louise Kastner

Ruth Louise Kastner, 82, of De Soto, formerly of Bonne Terre passed away June 25, 2014. She was born November 4, 1931 in St. Louis. Ruth worked as a clerk for the City of Desloge for 10 years before her retirement. She later worked as a clerk for the Life Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Burt and Alice (Embree) Davis; husband, Robert J. Kastner; son, David Kastner; twin brother, Ralph Davis; sister, Betty Kowalski; two sons-in-law, Larry Politte and Steven Mesey, Sr. Ruth is survived by three daughters, Deborah Mesey of De Soto, Mary Politte of Bonne Terre, Susan Kastner of Bonne Terre; six grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Sunday, June 29, 2014 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Monday at 10:30 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre. Interment will follow at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. The family would like to thank Serenity HospiceCare for their support and services.
