Ruth Dunlap, 81, of Desloge, formerly of Michigan, passed away peacefully, January 30, 2021, at her daughter’s home. She was born May 6, 1939, in Irondale, to the late Kyle and Pinnie (Benoist) Boyer. Ruth lived most of her life in SE Michigan where her father ran an orchard. She married her husband, Marvin Dunlap from Bismarck, in 1957 and later lived in the family home they built with their 3 children. The couple loved to fly all over the US in their antique Ercoupe. She was the navigator, he was the pilot. Family was most important for the both of them, and their children were royalty in their eyes.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 ½ years, Marvin Dunlap, when he passed away December 21, 2020; parents, Kyle and Pinnie Boyer; and one great granddaughter, Felicia Towles. They are all now together forever again.
Ruth is survived by their three children, Sharon Towles of Desloge, Tammy Ranger and husband Rod of Whitmore Lake, MI, Lloyd Dunlap and wife Shelli of Brighton, MI; eight grandchildren, Bobbie (Jessie) Fearer of Howell, MI, Sean Ranger of Whitmore Lake, Tiffany Gutierrez of Park Hills, Tyler (Tess) Towles of Whitmore Lake, MI, Sonja Harris of Brighton, MI, Dillon (Krystal) Harris of Sacramento, CA, Mellanie (Billy) Bradfute of Conroe, TX, and Luke Dunlap of Brighton, MI; thirteen great-grandchildren also survive.
