Ruth Ann Stark

Ruth Ann Stark, 77, of Farmington passed away October 5, 2023 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center. She was born January 28, 1946 in Festus, MO to the late Albert Henry “Bud” Stark and Leah Viola (Pinkley) Stark. Ruth Ann was of Baptist Faith. She retired from Union Pacific Railroad, where she worked as the first female welder. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan and enjoyed working on her farm.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her brother, Albert Earl Stark and special friend, Jeremy Mackley.
Ruth Ann is survived by her two sisters, Norma Jean Shelley and husband Warren of Bonne Terre and Mary Belle Stark of Farmington; special friends, Allen Mackley of Bonne Terre and Ruthie Effan and husband Terry of Farmington; her faithful dog and cat companions, Cash and Miss Kitty.
Visitation will be Friday, October 6, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM on Saturday, October 7 until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 AM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son – Taylor Chapel with Rev. Tim Mattingly officiating. Interment will follow at Three Rivers Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Three Rivers Cemetery Maintenance Fund or The Mackley Family 4-H Scholarship Fund. The family would like to extend a special thank you to Whitney and Jamie with Heart and Soul Hospice.
