Ruby J. Johnson

Ruby Jane (Bullock) Johnson, 79 of Bonne Terre passed away January 9, 2013 at St. Joe Manor. She was born October 14, 1933 in Bonne Terre to the late Reuben James and Fannie Edna (Dodson) Bullock. Ruby was also preceded in death by her husband, Richard Johnson and son, Steven Mark Johnson. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bonne Terre. Ruby is survived by three children, Wanda Volpe, John (Sandy) Johnson and Kelly (Michael) Venz; four step-children, Richard Paul Johnson, Richard Elmo Johnson, Michael David Johnson and Constance Merraine Hedrick. A host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive. Visitation will be Thursday, January 10, 2013 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Service will be Friday at 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Chapel in Bonne Terre with Rev. Ron Poole officiating. Interment will follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimers Association.
