Ruby Geraldine Armbruster

Ruby Geraldine (Kennedy) Armbruster, age 92, of Ste. Genevieve, passed away Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at her residence. Ruby was born October 3, 1927 in Centerville, Missouri to the late John Frank and Neoma (Barton) Kennedy.

In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband, James Glenwood Armbruster; sons, Leroy Armbruster and Allen Ray Armbruster; brother, Jimmy Kennedy.

Ruby is survived by her children, Brenda McGee and husband Gary, Eugene Armbruster, Margaret “Maggie” Shelton and husband Danny; daughter-in-law, Sharon Sloan; twenty-seven grandchildren, seventy great-grandchildren, and twenty great-great-grandchildren; brother, Paul Kennedy and wife Joyce; and many others.

There will be a visitation Friday, August 28, 2020 from 11 am until service time of 1 pm at C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home Chapel in Bonne Terre with Pastor Bob Almo officiating. Interment will follow at Mount Olive Cemetery in DeSoto. Memorial donations may be made to National Breast Cancer Foundation. Face masks or coverings are required.
