Roy E. Jamerson

Roy Emanuel Jamerson, 85, of Bonne Terre passed away October 13, 2016 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus.  He was born March 23, 1931 in Portageville, MO.  Roy was a retired United States Veteran and held an engineering degree, serving in the U.S. Army and the U.S. Air Force. 

He was preceded in death by his parents, Corbitt and Nola (Johnson) Jamerson; brothers, James Jamerson, Harvey Jamerson, and Hubert Jamerson; sisters, Cora Coleman, Pearl Whittemore, Lois Taylor and Cassie Gould.

Roy is survived by his wife of 41 years, Nenita (Lumacad) Jamerson of Bonne Terre; sons, Gary Jamerson, Phillip Jamerson, and Keith Jamerson; sister, Marlene Meadows.

A memorial visitation will be held Thursday, October 20, 2016 from 10:00 AM until the time of memorial service at 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre with Deacon Don Schmitt officiating. Inurnment will be at 1:30 PM on Thursday at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
