Roswitha Backlin

Roswitha “Rose” Backlin, 74, of Bonne Terre left us peacefully on March 4, 2017 at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus. She was born October 4, 1942 in Herborn, Germany to the late Fritz and Mimi (Fuegemann) Kollmar.

Rose is survived by her loving husband, Richard Backlin; four loving children, Brenda Kollmar of Bonne Terre, Carol Tuller and husband Danny of Fredericktown, Gary Stamm and wife Kristi of Desloge and Bridget Backlin of Bonne Terre; six grandchildren whom she loved as her own, Sarah Stamm, Jacob Stamm, Breanna Backlin, Mitchell Tuller, Ryan Shotwell and Anna Shotwell; brother, Edmund Kollmar and wife Angelica of Germany; sister, Helga Sims and husband Ronald of Arnold.
