Rose Embry

Rose Embry, 71, of Bonne Terre passed away August 26, 2017 at her residence surrounded by her loving family.  She was born February 7, 1946 in Bonne Terre to the late James and Freda (Stegall) Weir.  Rose was also preceded in death by two brothers, George Weir and Walter Weir, and sister, Alberta Huff.

Rose was a member of the Bonne Terre Church of Christ. 

Rose is survived by her husband, Les Embry, three daughters, Tammy (Allen) Baranovic, Missy Embry, Heather Embry; one son, Jared (Erin) Embry; grandchildren, Brittany (Steven) Wade, Holly Baranovic, Timothy, Larissa, and Victoria Stapleton, Ethan, Colin, and Carson Hughes, Cruz, Macy, and Jack Embry; great-grandchildren, Scout and Rowan Wade and Gabriel Mraz; three brothers, Howard Weir, James Weir and John (Vicki) Weir; sisters, Bonnie (Gordon) Morris, Barb Boyster, Carol (Harry) Johnson, Alice Weir and Lana Brewer, Nina (Clarence) Tate; sister-in-law, Norma Pride; great-niece, Jana Polk; numerous nieces,  nephews, many other relatives and friends.

She truly loved life and family. She loved spending time with her husband of 53 years, the joys of raising four children, and watching her grandchildren grow up.  Coming from a big family can be hard at times, but Rose loved every one of them.  She was a beautician by trade that loved interior decorating, landscaping and gardening.

Memorial visitation will be Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 10:00 AM until time of the memorial service at 11:00 AM at the Bonne Terre Church of Christ with Rev. Randy Murphy officiating.
