Rose Ann Hill

            Rose Hill, 71, of Park Hills, passed away, January 3, 2017 at Mercy Jefferson in Festus. She was born May 19, 1945, in Topeka, KS, to the late Melvin Leo and Ida Belle (Forester) Pirtle. Rose was a long time cook in our area, which includes Homestead, Roseners, and Warehouse BBQ.

             She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James “Jim” W. Hill; one son, David Lynn Hill; one step-daughter, Brenda Stanfil; and one brother, David Pirtle.  

            Rose is survived by her children, Tina Hill, Randy (Sharon) Hill, and Jeff Hill; step-children, James Hill, Jr., and Anna “Mickie” Brawley; grandchildren, Matthew Hill, Courtney Hill, Kim Hill, Bradley (Carrie) Roberts; four great-grandchildren; and seven step-grandchildren.

             Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, January 6, 2017, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The service will be held Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, with Pastor Todd Buck officiating. Interment will follow at Hillview Memorial Gardens in Farmington.
