Mr. Ronald W. Sheppard, Sr., passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2007, at National Health Care, in Desloge, at the age of 61 years, 5 months & 6 days. Ron was born Nov. 5, 1945, in Fredericktown.

Ron was Supervisor of Utilities for the City of Farmington. Ron was a member; Past Exalted Ruler & serving as a Trustee for Farmington ELKS Lodge #1765. Ron managed Farmington utilities since the early 1980's & has been a key leader of MAMU, MJMEUC, & SEMO-NEARK throughout the past three decades. Ron served as President of MAMU IN 2000.

Survivors Include: his wife, Evelyn Ann 'Bowman' Sheppard, of Farmington; 4 Children: Rhonda 'Mrs. Jerry' Osbon, of Chillicothe, MO; Raven Sheppard, of Columbia, MO; Ronnie (& Jeri) Sheppard, Jr., of Columbia, MO; & Jason Sheppard, of New Mexico. His Parents: Cecil & Patricia 'Emmett' Sheppard, of Fredericktown; 2 Step-Children: Ann Parson, of Farmington & J.W. Parson, of Farmington. 6 Grandchildren: Elizabeth, Paige & Amanda Osbon, of Chillicothe, MO; Victoria, Kyle & Justin Sheppard, of Columbia, MO. 4 Sisters: Reva 'Mrs. Don' Honea, of Fredericktown; Maxine Gray, of Fredericktown; Barbara 'Mrs. Jerry' Goad, of California & Joy 'Mrs. Mike' Renz, of Wentzville, MO; 2 Brothers: Donnie (& Margaret) Sheppard, of California; Larry (& Kay) Sheppard, of Texas. Also surviving are a host of Nieces & Nephews & Ron's dog Snuffy.

Visitation: Sunday, 4-9 p.m. with an ELKS Memorial Service conducted at 7 pm. Visitation resumes Monday, 7:00 a.m.

Funeral : Monday, 11:00 a.m., April 16, 2007,

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Dave McCutcheon & Rev. Rocky Good officiating.

Interment follows in the Revelle Cemetery near Fredericktown.

Memorials would be preferred in lieu of flowers to: * The Farmington ELKS Lodge #1765 Scholarship Fund &/or * The American Cancer Society.
