Ronald Earl Crites

Ronald E. Crites, 75, of Farmington passed away January 16, 2024 at his residence. He was born July 28, 1948 in Bonne Terre to the late Earl and Bertha (McGraw) Crites. Ron was of Free Will Baptist faith. He was the owner of Ron’s Used Cars in Farmington, which he started in 1973. He also owned The Music Box music store.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by three sisters, Maxine Crites in infancy, Marie Underwood and Mary Ann Pate.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Tressa Crites; three children, Darrin Crites, Tina Schulte and husband Eric, Nik Crites & wife Lori; nine-grandchildren, Blake Pritchett, Olivia Savage, Jaya Crites, Allison Savage, Stephanie Crites, Elizabeth Savage, Zach Gamble, Elijah Gamble and Benjamin Daniels; one great-grandchild, Colby Ivy. Several nieces, nephews, other family and friends also survive.
A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, January 19, 2024 from 10:00 AM until the time of a memorial service at Noon at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home – Taylor Chapel in Farmington.
