Roger Thompson

            Roger Thompson, 81, of Arnold, formerly of Farmington, passed away at his home April 14, 2019.   He was born February 4, 1938, in Chicago, to the late Amos Burl and Elsie Marie (Webb) Thompson.  He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. Roger was active in church and Sunday school. He loved gardening, crossword puzzles and watching football and baseball. He was a member of the Carpenters Union and a former Elks member. Roger also worked as a Foreman at Parkway School District.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; and one sister, Lavona Aivaliotis.

            Roger is survived by his wife, Rosemary (Rickard) Thompson; daughter, Amy Thompson; and many nieces and nephews.

            Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church of Arnold, Thursday, April 18, 2019 at 9:30 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Pastor Kenny Qualls will be officiating. Interment will be held at 2:30 PM at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Ste Genevieve County. Memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.

C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, is in charge of arrangements.
