Roger Marler

We lovingly ask you to celebrate in the joyous life of Roger Herman Marler, 60, of Bonne Terre who passed away Sunday, September 23, 2012. He was born in Bonne Terre on Thursday, September 4, 1952.He was preceded by his parents Herman and Clova (Owen) Marler. Brothers, Lindell Marler and Vernon Marler; brother-in-law Bruce Sipp and father-in-law Carl Clark.Roger leaves behind his devoted and courageous wife of 40 years, Janice Faye (Clark) Marler. The sunshine of his life, children, Brandon Roger Marler and wife Theresa Marie (Resinger) Marler and Juliane Nicole (Marler) Nicolas and husband Terry Bert Nicolas Jr. The moon and stars of his life, grand children, Owen Brandon Marler, Waverly Peyton Nicolas, and Macey Paxton Nicolas. He is also survived by; mother-in ??law Betty Jewel Clark; brother-in-law Danny (Debbie) Clark; sister-in-laws, Betty (Charles) Smith, Sandra (Don) Blum, Linda Sipp, Betty Marler, and Lucrita Marler; best friends Don Blum and Ron Mickan. He adored all of his nieces and nephews and held them so dear to his heart.Visitation will be Wednesday, September 26, 2012 from 4:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 9:00 AM at the Emmanuel Baptist Church in DeSoto with a funeral service following at 11:00 AM with Rev. Richard Grayson officiating. Interment to follow at Bonne Terre Cemetery.
