Roger Dale Penberthy

            Roger Penberthy, 70, of Park Hills, passed away January 27, 2018, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis.  He was born August 2, 1947, in Elvins, to the late Delmar Penberthy and Doris Jean (Hall) Lee.  Roger was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Park Hills and Senior Bowling League in Farmington.  He worked 50 years at Boeing Aircraft.

            He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Michael King and sister, JoAnn Penberthy Welz.

            Roger is survived by his loving wife Alberta (Brazel) Penberthy; daughter, Tammy Penberthy-Thomas; grandson, Seth Thomas; siblings, Lance King and wife Judy, Vicki Donovan and husband Joe, Susan King, Mark Wampler and wife Shelly, Shawn Wampler and wife Victoria, Terry Penberthy, Ronnie Wampler and Lana Wampler; many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive.

            A memorial visitation will be held on Sunday, February 4, 2018, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.  Visitation will resume at 10:00 AM on Monday, February 5, 2018, at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel in Desloge.  A Memorial Mass will follow at 11:00 AM at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Park Hills, with Rev. Mark S. Ebert officiating.  A private family inurnment will follow at a later date.
