Robert W. Huskey, 81, of Bonne Terre passed away September 9, 2010 at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born December 22, 1928 in Jefferson County. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a long time member and past trustee of Gospel Light Freewill Baptist Church. He worked at Pea Ridge Mine, owned and operated Huskey Feed Store for 12 years and farmed most of his life. He was preceded in death by his parents, Stanley Edward and Lillian (Houston) Huskey and two daughters, Donna Stewart and Carla Rutledge. Robert is survived by his wife, Charlene (Lucas) Huskey; five children, Mike Huskey and wife Anita, Terri (Mrs. Mike) Carrow, Nancy (Mrs. Terry) Cole, Tim Huskey and wife Angel, Dennis Huskey and wife Kris; fifteen grandchildren; twenty- eight great-grandchildren; two sons-in-law George Stewart and Tyson Rutledge; sister, Bernice Moss of High Ridge; brother, David Huskey of TX. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends also survive. Visitation will be Friday, September 10, 2010 at 4:00 PM at the Gospel Light Freewill Baptist Church. Service will be Saturday at 10:30 AM at the Gospel Light Freewill Baptist Church with Rev. Herb McMillian officiating. Entombment with full Military Honors will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Shared Blessings. Arrangements are under the direction of C. Z.
