Robert Kenneth Belsey

Robert Kenneth Belsey, age 79, of Bonne Terre, passed away Tuesday, February 13, 2024, at Crystal City Skilled Nursing Facility. Robert was born on Tuesday, April 11, 1944 in Santa Barbara, CA.to the late Alfred Douglas and Helen Katherine (Bagby) Belsey. He was also preceded in death by his sister Janet Cook.

Robert was a passionate individual who lived life to the fullest. He had a deep love for being on the water and residing on his sailboat named “Dads Dream” his appreciation for the great outdoors extended to his enjoyment of fishing and hunting, where he found solace and joy in nature. Additionally, Robert had a talent for music, playing the piano and singing. He delighted those around him with his larger-than-life personality and sense of humor.

Robert is survived by his loving children, Tammy Starkey, and Fiancé Jamy Dill, Rene Belsey and Debra Saiger and husband Kirk; seven grandchildren, Brad, Casey, Jared, Morgan, CJ, Madison, and Marissa; four great grandchildren, Hailey, Avery, Braxton, and Brynlee. Robert also had a special friend he greatly adored Jennifer Messick with whom he shared many memories.
