Robert E. Ketcherside

Robert Ketcherside, 87 of Desloge, passed away Thursday, March 14, 2013 at SouthbrookSkilled Nursing Center in Farmington. He was born September 10, 1925 in Desloge and later served his Country in The Merchant Marines. Robert served as BoyScout Leader for many of years and served on the Desloge Fire Department. He was also a member of Desloge Methodist Church.Robert was preceded in death by grandsons, Bobby Ketcherside and Dale Mauk; sisters Mary Louise Rabaduex, and Helen Moore.Robert is survived by wife, Imogene Ketcherside; children, Darlene (Mrs. Ed) Swaringim of Ozark, Van Ketcherside and wife Beth of Bonne Terre, Dalana Mauk of Desloge; grandchildren, Travis and Adam Ketcherside, Dianne Mauk, Dorinda (Mrs. Ewell) Henson, and Yvone (Mrs. David) Ruble; two step-grandchildren, Abby (Mrs. Rocky) Newsom, Tim Swaringim and wife Sharon; six great-grandchildren; brother, Bill Ketcherside and wife Bernice.Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, March 15, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM. The service will be in the C.Z.Boyer and Son Chapel, Saturday, March 16, 2013 at 11:00 AM with Rev. JohnSwatosh officiating.
