Rickey Joe Gilbert

Ricky Joe Gilbert age 58 of Leadwood passed away August 11, 2012 at N.H.C. Desloge.He was born July 7, 1954 in Bonne Terre to the late Paul Joseph and Glenda (Marler) Gilbert. Mr.Gilbert was also preceded in death by a brother Paul Gilbert and a sister, Arnetta DeGrant.Rick is survived by his wife Mary Byers Gilbert of Leadwood; children, Karen, Mrs. Steven Queen of Park Hills; Jodi, Mrs. Colin McCoy of St. Louis; grandchildren; Ashley, Mrs. Cody Eaton, Michael Queen and wife Shalisa, Josh Queen; Madeline, Luci and Lauren McCoy; two great-grandchildren Malcome Burr and Shalynn Queen; two sisters; Phyllis Mecey of Farmington & Vickey Gilbert of Park Hills; one brother, Jake Inman and wife Brenda of Ironton; a sister-in-law Becky Gilbert of Desloge & brother-in-law Larry Degrant of Park Hills.Additional survivors include nieces, nephews and many friends.Mr. Gilbert was a member of the Frankclay Assembley of God, and was previously employed as a machinist with US Tool for a period of 15 years.Visitation will be Tuesday, Aug. 14, 2012 from 5 ?? 9pm at the C. Z. Boyer & Son - Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills.Funeral services will follow on Wednesday at 1 pm at the Boyer Funeral Home ?? Caldwell Chapel at 711 E. Main in Park Hills.Interment is at the Parkview Cemetery.Memorials should be directed to the Multiple Sclerosis Society of America.
