Richard Hampton

Richard "Rick" Hampton, 67 of Irondale, passed away Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Southbrook Skilled Nursing Center in Farmington.Rick was born June 19, 1945 in Festus to the late Keith and Ruth (Fortney) Hampton.He was employed at Dave Sinclair Ford, as the Parts Manager for many years and a member of the Knights of Columbus in Festus. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Steele) Hampton; four children, Michael (Tina) Hampton, Angela Smiley, Jacqulyn (Nathan) Gentry, and Matthew (Estelle) Hampton; two step children, Christopher (Christina) Steele and Keith (Jennifer) Gressler; ten grandchildren; and brother, Robert (Tlisa) Hampton. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge.A private memorial service will be held at a later date.Memorials can be made to the Long Meadow Resue Ranch at longmeadowrescueranch.org.
