Richard "Eddie" Cox

Richard “Eddie” Cox, 53, of Farmington, passed away September 1, 2024, at Parkland Hospital in Farmington. He was born December 3, 1970, in Colorado Springs, to Dyer Edward and Brenda Sue (Jarvis) Cox, Jr. Eddie loved hunting, fishing, spending time with his family and loving his grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Brenda Cox; grandfathers, maternal grandpa, Melvin Jarvis; paternal grandparents Dyer and Amanda Cox, Sr.; mother in-law, Diane Johnston. 

Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 15 years, Jennifer (Johnston) Cox; four children, Wendy (Jeremy) Kilburn, Robert Bonnarens, Madison (Tanner) Manno and Jonathon Lawson; grandchildren, Amanda, Bella, Michael, Fred, Harper, Wyatt, Avery, Barrett and Addilyn; one great-grandchild on the way; father, Dyer Cox, Jr.; siblings, Barry (Karen) Cox, Penny (David) Hoskins and Nancy (Charles) Austin; maternal grandmother, Marple Jarvis and father in-law, Thomas Johnson. 

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Tuesday, September 10, 2024, from 4:00 PM until service time of 6:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home, to help with funeral expenses.
