Rhonda Mae Roney

            Rhonda Mae Roney, 56, of Leadwood, passed away June 8, 2017 at home, surrounded by her family. She was born April 29, 1961, in Farmington, to the late Delmar Lee and Mayme Elizabeth (White) Rawlins. Rhonda worked in the Sherriff’s Department over 20 years and assisted with the Shop with a Cop Program. 

            She is survived by her husband, Frank Roney; children, John Frank Roney, Jr. and wife Paula, and Ashlee Elizabeth Roney; three grandchildren, Trenton, Tessa, and Toree Roney; siblings, Delta (J.D.) Noble, Delmar (Connie) Rawlins, and Eli (Lana) Rawlins. 

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The service will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Monday, June 12, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery.
