Rev. David Pinkston

Rev. David PinkstonDavid Pinkston, 64 of French Village, was called home Thursday, August 8, 2013. He was born December 30, 1948 in Bonne Terre. Dave served in the United States National Guard, was previously employed by Valley Dolomite Minerals and was also a former Pastor of Parkview Freewill Baptist Church from 1982-1994. He is preceded in death by parents, Charley and Pearl (Byington) Pinkston.Dave is survived by his wife of 44 years, Marilyn (Richardson) Pinkston; son, Mark (JeAnna) Pinkston; honorary son, Roger Gipson; granddaughters, Cheyanne and Chelsea Cash; great-grandson, Blaine Smith; brothers, Carl (Dorothy) Pinkston, Charles (Edna) Pinkston, and Paul (Vanda) Pinkston.Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, August 11, 2013 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The visitation will resume at Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church in Park Hills, Monday, August 12, 2013 at 9:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. The service will be officiated by Rev. Wayne Phillips, Rev. Stan Bunch, and Rev. Randy Murphy. Interment will follow at Hall Cemetery in French Village. Memorials may be given to the Hall Cemetery Association or Fellowship Free Will Baptist Church.
