Raymond Johnson

Raymond G. Johnson, 85, of Terre Du Lac passed awayDecember 11, 2013 at St. Anthonys Medical Center in St. Louis. He was bornJanuary 6, 1928 in Twelve Mile, MO to the late George and Stella (Pope)Johnson. Ray proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was awelder by trade and taught at South County Technical School for 30 years untilhis retirement. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmington,Masonic Lodge, Scottish Rite and SEMO Seniors Golf Association. He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Shirley(Cooper) Johnson; four children, Kathy (Mrs. Dale) Reifschneider of Terre DuLac, Michael Johnson and wife Janice of St. Louis, Patricia Johnson of St.Louis, Robin Ringwald of Omaha, NE; six grandchildren, Jason Reifschneider,Lauren (Mrs. David) Sauer, Ashley Johnson, Megan Johnson, Nicole Wester,Danielle Estopare. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends also survive. Visitation will be Sunday, December 15, 2013 from 3:00 PMuntil 8:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.Visitation will resume Monday at 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church ofFarmington with the service at 1:00 PM with Dr. William Miller officiating.Interment will follow at Marcus Memorial Cemetery in Fredericktown. Memorials maybe to the First Baptist Church of Farmington Building Fund.
