Ray "Bud" Wallen

          Bud Wallen, 70, of Park Hills, passed away, January 17, 2021, at home surrounded by his family. He was born March 26, 1950, in Bonne Terre, to the late Randal and Wanda (Bradley) Wallen. Bud retired from the U.S. Postal service after proudly serving his country in the United States Air Force, after returning from Vietnam. He is known in the community for coaching baseball for several years.

          He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Randy Wallen and brothers in-law, George Saunders and Ed Moses.

          Bud is survived by his loving wife of 49 ½ years, Debbie (Watson) Wallen; son, Bryan Wallen and wife Kacy; granddaughters, Chrissy Wallen and Kimmy (fiancé, Kade Fleming) Wallen; nephew and honorary son, Steve (Vickie) Saunders; siblings, Sheila (Randy) Leonard, Debbie (Mark) Guggenburger, Angie (Brad) Barton, Dennis (Colleen Mitchell) Wallen, Denise Murdick, and Krystal Moses; brothers in-law, Elbert (Carolyn) Watson and Michael (Pam) Watson; former brother in-law, P.D. Murdick; former sister in-law, Kaye (Mike) Keith; many other nieces, nephews, other family members and friends also survive.

          Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Wednesday, January 20, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will resume in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Thursday, January 21, 2021, at 10:00 AM until service time at 11:00 AM. Brother Jonathan Jones, will be officiating, assisted by Dr. Todd Buck. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Leadington. Memorials may be directed to Haven House at St. Luke’s Hospital. Face masks or coverings are required before entering the building.
