Ralph Green

Ralph Green, 79 of Desloge, passed away March 19, 2014, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. He was born October 22, 1934, in St. Louis, to the late Charles and Geneva (Cole) Green. He was a member of the Grace Church of the Heartland in Fredericktown. His life was filled with a Gospel Music Ministry, both as a soloist and with various quartets. In addition, he sang professionally with the "All American Quartet." Ralph was inducted into the Mid-America Musical Association Hall of Fame and was given the Life Time Achievement Award.Ralph is survived by his wife Mary Frances (Dortch) Green; children, Tim Green and wife Tricia, Kevin Green and wife Jacque, Vicki Green, Jeanne (Mrs. Mike) Vagedes, David King and wife Lisa, John King and wife Tawna, and Lisa (Mrs. Mike) Dulle; one sister, Virginia Lee Wedepohl.Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Friday, March 21, 2014 from 3:00 PM to service time at 6:00 PM. The service will begin at 6:00 PM with Brother Carl Cureton officiating.
