Rachel M. Braswell

Rachel M. Braswell 81, of Bonne Terre passed away January 25, 2012 at St. Joe Manor. She was born November 15, 1930 in Pemiscot County, MO. She was a member of the Leadbelt Pentecostal Church. Rachel and her husband, Rev. Ed Braswell were the founding members of Leadbelt Pentecostal Church, where Rev. Braswell pastored for 38 years.She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Ethel (Guick) OGuin; brother, Clyde OGuin.Rachel is survived by her husband, Rev. Edward B. Braswell of Bonne Terre; four children, Mike Braswell and wife Glenda of Farmington, Rick Braswell and wife Debbie of Bonne Terre, Rebecca (Mrs. Bob) Patterson of Desloge and LaRonda (Mrs. Mark) Walls of Farmington; nine grandchildren, Michael Braswell, Jonathan Braswell, Jason Braswell, Aaron Braswell, Shawn Braswell, Nathan D. Patterson, Erica Balasz, Lacie Walls and Landon Walls; thirteen great-grandchildren; four sisters, Helen Smith, Marsha Odle, Betty Fullerton and Virginia Bata. Several nieces, nephews, a host of friends and church family also survive. Visitation will be Friday, January 27, 2012 from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM at the Leadbelt Pentecostal Church in Bonne Terre. Service will be Saturday at 1:00 PM at the Leadbelt Pentecostal Church with Rev. Scott Meeks officiating. Burial will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to the Leadbelt Pentecostal Church.
