Peggy Joyce Winebarger

Mrs. Peggy Joyce Winebarger passed away late Easter Sunday morning, March 27, 2016, at the Baisch Nursing Center, in Jefferson County, MO., at the age of 84 years, 5 months & 5 days. Peggy was born on October 22, 1931, in St. Francois Co., MO., & was the daughter of Millard Leonard and Freeda 'Kelley' Johnson. Peggy was united in Marriage to C. Hildon Winebarger, on May 6, 1951, and they were married for nearly 65 years.

Peggy was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church of Farmington. She was a former member of Pine Log Baptist Church of Ste. Genevieve Co., where she taught Adult Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. Peggy was a wonderful seamstress.

Survivors Include: her husband, Hildon Winebarger, of Ste. Genevieve Co. 4 daughters - Claudia Winebarger, of Crystal City, MO; Diane (& Patrick) Reed, of Hillsboro, MO; Linda Douglas, of Crystal City, MO; and Mary (& Scott) Larsen, of Lake of The Ozarks, MO. Half-sister, Kathleen (& Jerry) Hibner, of Farmington; Half-brother, Charles Leonard. 5 grandchildren - Erin Weiss, of Kansas City, KS; Sara (& Bryan) Lorenz, of Oakville, MO; Jordan Reed, of Hillsboro, MO; Joshua (& Jessica) Douglas, of Festus, MO. and Jake (& Kristine) Douglas, of Kansas City, MO. 4 great-grandchildren: Samuel & Eleanor Lorenz; Taylor & Talon Douglas.

Visitation : Wed, 5-8 p.m. Visitation resumes, Thursday, 6:30 - 12 Noon

Funeral : Thursday, 1:00 p.m., March 31, 2016

at : Memorial United Methodist Church, Farmington, with Rev. Scott Hall officiating

Interment follows at : Mayberry Cemetery - Avon, MO.
