Paul R. Cowan

Paul Raymond Cowan, 87, of Topeka, KS, formerly of Terre Du Lac passed away April 10, 2017 at St. Francis Health Center in Topeka. He was born September 1, 1929 in Crocker, MO. Paul proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bonne Terre and past member of the Samaritan Masonic Lodge #424 of Bonne Terre.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Elmer and Minnie Belle (McDowell) Cowan; wife, Ruby M. (Douglas) Cowan; two brothers, James Cowan and Dale Cowan; sister, Maxine Vaughn.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Shirley Constant and husband Jody of Topeka, KS; two grandchildren, Patty Doyle of Holton, KS, Ed Cape of Tecumseh, KS; step-grandchildren, Kevin Constant of Topeka, KS, Amy Constant of Poulsbo, WA; great-grandchildren, Nathan, Caleb and Ben Doyle, Morgan and Audrey Cape; great-great-granchildren, Jadynn and Rhett; one great-great-grandchild soon to arrive; step-great-grandchildren, Mary and David; two sisters, Imogene Brust of Florissant, MO and Joann Allen of DeSoto, MO. Several nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 15, 2017 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre with Rev. Alan David officiating.
