Patsy Lou Forrester

Patsy Forrester, age 87, of Leadwood, passed away Friday, July 26, 2024, at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis. She was born on Tuesday, April 27, 1937, in Cantwell to the late Bryan Dewey and Ruby Beatrice (Wood) Gibson.

Patsy was a devoted homemaker who loved taking care of her family. She enjoyed cooking and tending to her flower beds. She also had a love for animals. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Patrick Marion Forrester; sons, Donald Lee “Sweet Pea” Forrester, Robert Edmond Forrester and Otto Ray Forrester; six brothers, Harold Eugene Gibson, Vernon Gibson, Bob Gibson, Eddie Gibson, Donald Gibson and Ronald Gibson.

Patsy is survived by her loving children, Stephen and Debbie Forrester of Bonne Terre, Robin and Bob Sweeney of Farmington, Pat and Paula Forrester of Irondale, Vernon Forrester of Leadwood, Ronald Forrester of Leadwood, Traci and Mikey Ross of Irondale, Larrell and Katie Forrester of Belleview; eleven grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren along with other family and friends 

A private family inurnment will take place at Leadwood Cemetery at a later date. Arrangements under the direction of C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
