Patricia Smith

          Patricia Smith, 65, of Desloge, passed away February 19, 2022, at her home, surrounded by the ones she loved.  She was born in St. Louis, December 14, 1956, to the late Irvin and Lois (Hedrick) Hardt.  Pat retired after 29 years from the Missouri Department of Corrections, as the Warden and in her spare time, she loved to travel and take photos.

          She was preceded by her parents; husband, Don Smith; step-daughter, Misty Smith; brothers, James and Richard Hardt; and brother in-law, Robert Lee.         

          Pat is survived by step-children, Dustin Smith and wife Amber, Tina Thomas and husband Dave; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; siblings, Linda Lee, Dennis Hardt and wife Connie, John Hardt and partner Robbin; brothers in-law, John and Roger Smith; numerous nieces, nephews and friends, also survive.

          A memorial visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Monday, February 28, 2022, from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM.  Reverend Danny Berry will be officiating.  In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to any cancer organization of donor’s choice.
