With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Diane Politte,68, of Bonne Terre, a beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who departed this life on Saturday, November 2, 2024, at Barnes Jewish Hospital in St. Louis. Born on Tuesday, November 29, 1955 in Bonne Terre. Diane was a compassionate soul whose kindness touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her. Throughout her life, Diane dedicated herself to serving others, both as a devoted aid in the kitchen for the North St. Francois County School District and as a caring caregiver. Her days were filled with tending to her flower garden, feeding hummingbirds, and escaping into a book that she enjoyed. Diane found joy in the simple pleasures of life, cherishing the moments spent watching Hallmark movies and creating treasured memories with her family and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents Homer Dell and Ila Mae Rawson; and In-laws, Victor and Rita Politte; and step-mother, Eleanor Mund Rawson.
Diane is survived by her loving husband of 41 years, Randy Politte; two daughters; Stephanie Bone and husband CJ, Kimberly Skaggs and husband Randy; four beautiful grandchildren that Diane adored, Lukas and Addyson Bone, Tyler and Raelan McCreary; Seven Siblings, Norma Patt and husband Raymond, Dell Rawson, Donna Clifford and husband Mark, Jeannie Smith and husband Rodney, Janice Sparkman and husband Carl, Marty Rawson, and Bryan Rawson and wife Andria; step- sister; Angie Mund; step- brothers, Greg Mund, and Mike Mund and wife Stacy; along with many nieces, nephews, family and friends that will dearly miss her.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Primrose Baptist Church in Bonne Terre, on Friday, November 8, 2024 at 3:30 p.m. until service time of 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Randy Murphy officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
