Patricia Lee Tiefenauer

Patricia Lee (Wideman) Tiefenauer, 81, passed away April 9, 2015, at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre. Patricia was born in Bonne Terre, November 25, 1933 to the late, George and Marguerite (Buscher) Wideman who preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by one great grandson, Evan Walter Tiefenauer. Patricia was married to Walter (Cotton) Tiefenauer on September 13, 1952. They lived 4 years in Germany, 4 years in Italy and many different places in the United States before Walter retired from the United States Army. While living in Italy, they adopted their only son, Christian, from Salzburg, Austria. Patricia dearly loved her son, and grandsons, Justin, Andrew, and Corey, and her six great grandchildren, Evan Walter, Brooke, Ashton, Haley, Aubrie, Pierce and Liam. She was also a member of the First Baptist Church in Desloge. Patricia is also survived by two brothers-in-law, Melvin Gene Wright and Hershel Tiefenauer and wife, June, of Desloge, and one sister-in-law, Bess Myers of Farmington. Patricia will be greatly missed by her family and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held Monday, April 13, 2015 at First Baptist Church in Desloge, from 9:00 AM to service time at 11:00 AM. Pastor Bradford Laubinger will be officiating. Interment will follow at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre. Memorials may be directed to St. Francois County Relay For Life.
