Partricia Jean Day

Mrs. Patricia Jean Day passed away early Thursday morning, June 30, 2016, at St. Joe Manor, in Bonne Terre, MO., at the age of 85 years, 6 months & 25 days. Patricia was born Dec. 5, 1930, in Waukegan, IL., & was the daughter of Rolf Amundsen, Sr., and Elda 'Norberg' Amundsen. Also preceding-in-death were, 1 sister, Joyce Amundsen and 1 brother, Snooky Amundsen.

Patricia was a member of Memorial United Methodist Church of Farmington. She was united in marriage to Glen Day on May 25, 1972. Pat will be remembered for her loving personality. She always had a smile & kind word for everyone. She loved her family deeply & provided all with many great memories that will be forever cherished. She is already missed so very much.

Survivors Include : her husband, Glen Day of Bismarck. 5 children: Wendy (& Brad) Brown, of Bismarck; Will (& Kelly) Randle, of Ashland, MO; Jack (& Dana) Miller, of Lake Villa, IL; Karen (& Rich) Reynolds, of Beach Park, IL; Glen (& Kay) Day of Keokuk, IA. 1 brother, Rolf Amundsen, Jr., of Kenosha, WI. 13 Grandchildren: Shelley, Jason, Chris, Matt, Jack, Les, April, Jennifer, Kelsey, Jamison, Emma, Trisha & Lance. Also surviving are 12 great-grandchildren.

Visitation Starts : Saturday, 12 Noon

Funeral : Saturday, 2:00 p.m., July 2, 2016

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Tim Gray officiating.

Interment : Bismarck Masonic Cemetery, Bismarck, MO
