Mrs. Osa Katherine White passed away Nov. 17, 2009, at her National Health Care residence in Desloge, at the age of 94 years, 6 months & 6 days. Osa was born May 11, 1915, in Greenville, MO., to George Columbus Wood and Rose 'Cole' Wood. Also preceding were: her husband, Glen White (1994); 1 Son, Charles Franklin White; 4 Sisters: Pat Wood Kelly, Thelma Wood Doerr, Helen Wood Luke & Verna Wood Martin. Also, 1 Grandson, Scott White.

Osa Katherine was wed to Glen White on Nov. 20, 1937, in St. Louis. She retired as a Bookkeeper for McDonnell-Douglas Aircraft Co. Mr. & Mrs. White retired to Poplar Bluff, where Mrs. White was very active at the Poplar Bluff 1st Bapt. Church as an Adult Sunday School teacher. Her leisure activities included singing with the church Senior Choir, lace crochet, reading & crossword puzzles.

Survivors Include: 1 son, Jerry Glen (& Janice) White, of Canton, GA; 1 daughter, Mary Lynn White Harrelson, & son-in-law, Allen, of Park Hills, MO. 1 daughter-in-law, Ardath White, of Sacramento, CA; 7 Grandchildren: Susan Lynn (Jeffrey) White Warren, of San Paulo, CA; Sheryl Ann (& James) White Kelly, of Elk Grove, CA; Steven Glen (& Dee Dee) White, of Saugus, CA; Jeffrey Wayne (& Patricia Neal) White, of Canton, GA; Janet Rae (& Doug) White Freeman, of Canton, GA; Sean Allen (& Rebecca Stanford) Harrelson, of Everett, WA; Anna Katherine (& Andrew) Harrelson Herbig, of Topeka, KS. Also surviving are 27 Great-Grandchildren & 14 Great, Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral : Saturday, 11:00 a.m., November 21, 2009

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Pastor Jerry G. White officiating (of Emmanuel Community Church in Woodstock, GA.).

Graveside services : Saturday, 2:00 p.m., November 21, 2009

at : Greenville City Cemetery, Greenville, MO., with Pastor Sean A. Harrelson officiating (of Coram Deo Fellowship in Everett, WA).
