Norma Pearl Lane

            Norma Lane, 94, of Farmington, passed away August 28, 2017 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in St. Louis. She was born June 8, 1923, in Desloge, to the late Marion William and Lillie Imo (Simpson) Brown. She later married William Link Lane and spent several years in England, while he served his country in the United States Air Force. She was also a member of the Eastern Star 260 for over 50 years in Desloge. Norma enjoyed traveling and spending time with her husband and children.  

            She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sisters, one in infancy, and Alma Beckett. 

            Norma is survived by her two children, Jim Lane and wife Joan of Farmington, Mike Lane and wife Frances of Desloge; three grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; thirteen step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews also survive. 

            Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Thursday, August 31, 2017 from 4:00 PM until service time at 7:00 PM, with an Eastern Star service at 6:45 PM. Reverend Bob Price will be officiating. A private interment will be held at St. Francois Memorial Park in Bonne Terre, at a later date.
