Norma Parolin

            Norma Parolin, 85, of Bonne Terre, passed away September 16, 2020, at Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Festus. She was born November 25, 1934, in Waterloo, IL., to the late Albert Paul and Florance Mildred (Mueller) Mathews. Norma enjoyed traveling and working crossword puzzles. Her greatest joy was her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

            She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, James Gene Parolin; grandchildren, Michael and Melissa; great- granddaughter, Aubrey; siblings, Aldora Womble, Allen Mathews, Janet Mathews, Sharon Owens and Germain “Jerry” Shalk.

            Norma is survived by her children, Carol Parolin, Debra Murray, James Gene Parolin, Jr., Kathy Andrews, Jean Parolin, George Parolin, and Daniel Parolin; fourteen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Sandy Miller.

            The family is planning a private Celebration of Life, at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre.
