Norma 'Green' Patience Johnson

Mrs. Norma Patience 'Green' Johnson passed away Thursday afternoon, November 4, 2010, at her Delmar Gardens of O'Fallon, MO., residence at the age of 85 years, 6 months & 2 days. Norma was born on May 2, 1925, and was the daughter of Charles Clair Green and Sally Jane 'Mills' Green. Also preceding-in-death were: her husband, Raymond Allen Johnson (Jan. 1996); a sister, Virginia Thomure and 2 brothers: Jesse Brittan Green and Norvell James Green (June 30, 2010).

Norma was a member of the Union Light Congregational Methodist Church in Bollinger County and active in the Libertyville United Methodist Church and Christian Women's Club. She enjoyed serving others by knitting hats for cancer victims and preemie babies and also knitting prayer shawls. Norma was an avid supporter of Breast Cancer Research.

Survivors Include: her son, Michael (& Deborah) Johnson, of O'Fallon, MO. 1 Sister, Mary Pearl Bohs, of Farmington; 4 Grandchildren: Amy 'Mrs. Aaron' Blough, of O'Fallon; Ryan Weaver, of O'Fallon; Rebecca Weaver, of Ballwin & Rachel Kiem, of O'Fallon. 3 Great-Grandchildren: Joshua Blough; Jacob Kiem & Maddison Kiem.

Visitation Monday, 4-9 p.m. Visitation resumes Tuesday at 6:30 a.m.

Funeral : Tuesday, 11:00 a.m., November 9, 2010

at : TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL, with Rev. Noel Stevens officiating.

Interment at : Union Light Cemetery, Bollinger Co., MO.

Memorials to : American Cancer Society, Breast Cancer Research.
