Nixon William and Avery Brett AbtsNixon William and Avery Brett Abts, identical twin sons of Andrew and Brittani Abts were born December 28, 2011.Our special angels had a medical condition called twin to twin transfusion syndrome and fought valiantly to be born and live. Mom and dad went to the best hospitals seeking the finest medical care possible, but God called them home too soon.Nixon was stillborn and Avery did his best for three days before going to be with his brother, December 31, 2011. Our boys were preceded in death by their wonderful uncle, Brett Tiefenauer. Those who remain to mourn their loss, are parents, Andrew and Brittani (Tiefenauer) Abts of Farmington; grandparents, Jeff and Susan Tiefenauer of Desloge, Dan and Mary Abts of Ste. Genevieve, and Tom Sloan and Becky Abts of St. Louis. Also surviving are a multitude of aunts, uncles, great-grandparents, cousins, family and friends who loved them. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be made to Twin to Twin Transfusion Foundation, March of Dimes, or Ronald McDonald House.A private ceremony will be arranged by C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at St. Francois Memorial Park.
