Nancy Amelia Farkas

Nancy Amelia Farkas, 62 of Bonne Terre passed away on Wednesday, August 28, 2024, at St. Joe Manor in Bonne Terre. she was born on Thursday, March 8, 1962, Nancy was beloved mother to her sons Kenny Farkas, James Thomas and daughter Destinee Farkas a cherished mother-in-law to Brandi Farkas. 

A caring grandmother, Nancy took immense pride in her grandchildren and found joy in spending time with them. She was an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan who never missed a game, often watching with her best friend Rita. Nancy enjoyed watching classic TV shows like "The Andy Griffith Show" and "The Waltons." Her love for food which she immensely enjoyed and pampering herself especially during her mother-daughter time getting their nails done. 

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents James and Bernice (Jurczyk) Lindsay; brother, Robert Lindsay.

She is survived by her loving children, Kenny Farkas and wife Brandi, Destinee Farkas, James Thomas; four grandchildren, Ethan Thomas and wife Liz, Dylan Visnovske, Collin Farkas and Ryan Visnovske; two sisters, Rebecca “Becky” Hebblethwaite and Donna Fields; along with numerous nieces and nephews. She will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. May she rest in eternal peace. 

 Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer Funeral Home in Bonne Terre, on Wednesday, September 4, 2024 from 2 P.M. until service time of 5:30 P.M. with Pastor Randy Murphy officiating. In memory of Nancy memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
