Mildred N. Mayberry

Mildred Nevada (Knight) Mayberry, 93, of Mt. Vernon, MO, formerly of Desloge passed away September 11, 2015 at Lawrence County Manor. She was born August 4, 1922 in Leadwood. Mildred was a member of the First Baptist Church of Desloge and attended the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Mt. Vernon after moving. She was preceded in death by her parents, Owen and Beulah (French) Knight; husband, Clyde E. Mayberry; sister and brother-in-law, Marcella and Bob Shaw. Mildred is survived by her daughter, Judy Just and husband Pete of Mt. Vernon; two grandchildren, Jeffrey (Donna) Goodman and Joy Goodman; four great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 15, 2015 from 11:00 AM until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge with Pastor Bradford Laubinger officiating. Interment will follow at Leadwood Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) of Mt. Vernon at 703 S. Hickory St., Mt. Vernon, MO 65712.
