Mrs. Mildred D. 'Flaherty' Wann passed away on Saturday afternoon, May 25, 2002, at The Farmington Presbyterian Manor Nursing Home at the age of 87 years, 8 months & 27 days. She was born September 28, 1914, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Peter Vincent Flaherty & Clara 'Garrette' Flaherty. She was also preceded in death by: her husband, Charles E. Wann, Sr. (May 16, 1998); 2 Sisters & 2 Brothers: Clara Stewart; Marge Chaplin; Peter Flaherty & Roy Flaherty. Mildred was a member of The Farmington First Free Will Baptist Church. SURVIVORS INCLUDE - 2 SONS: Charles (& Hazel) Wann, Jr. - of Doe Run; James (& Joyce) Wann - of Lenexa, KS; 1 DAUGHTER : Margarette (& Porter) Hensley, of Farmington; 3 GRANDCHILDREN: Gary (& Sherry) Wann, of Overland Park, KS; Dan (& Jennifer) Wann, of Murray, KY; Brian (& Diane) Wann, of Olathe, KS; 5 GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN: Emily; Matthew; Eric; Kevin & Corey Wann. Visitation starts Tuesday @ 5:00 p.m., & resumes Wednesday morning @ 7:00 a.m. at TAYLOR Funeral Service CHAPEL. Visitation will start at the church Wednesday @ 10 am. The funeral will be Wed., 11 am, May 29th, at the church with Rev. David Bates officiating, assisted by Rev. Roger Hogan. Interment will follow at Doe Run Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be made to: Farmington First Free Will Baptist Church - Building Fund.
