Mike R. Branson

Mike Branson, 80, of Park Hills, passed away September 27, 2023, at Mercy Jefferson in Festus. He was born April 30, 1943, in St. Louis. Mike served his country in the United States Army, which he retired from after 24 years. He was very proud of his commitment to his country. In his spare time, he enjoyed playing computer games and being with his family.

Mike is survived by his wife of 24 years, Juanita (Wertenberger) Branson; daughter, Deanna Kraus; grandchildren, E.J. Kraus and wife Sasha, Tim Hawkins and wife Adrianna, Brittany (Bryian Macke) Hawkins; great-grandchildren, Alektra Boyer, Alyssa Hawkins, Mason Kraus, Novalyn Macke, Maxton Kraus, Isabella Hawkins and Myles Kraus; sister in-law, Peggy Pinto and husband Jim; brother in-law, Scott Crabtree and wife Diane; nieces, Donna O’Brien and husband Brendan and Tonya Dick and husband Rob; nephew, Randy Crabtree and wife Pat.

Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son – Taylor Chapel in Farmington, on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, at the funeral home from 9:00 AM until service time of 11:00 AM. Burial to follow at Jefferson Barrack National Cemetery in St. Louis.
