Mike Knight

Michael “Mikey” Alan Knight, age 67, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Parkland Hospital in Bonne Terre. Mikey was born May 21, 1952 to the late William and Dorothy (Allen) Knight in Maplewood, Missouri. He graduated from Central High School in St. Louis. Mike proudly served our country in The United States Army. When someone mentioned Mike Knight’s name, it always made everyone smile.

In addition to his parents, Mikey was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Knight; grandparents, Almon and Dora Allen, Thomas and Susie Knight; uncles, Phillip L Allen and wife Arbeta, Ralph Allen, and Kenneth Allen.

Mikey is survived by his devoted wife, Diana Robinson; stepson, Nick White and girlfriend, Jessica Partney; siblings, Elaine and husband Don Russell, Tom Knight, Kathy Hatley, Dennis and wife Kathy Knight; aunt, Ruth Allen; many cousins, friends, coworkers, and other family. His cousins could tell hours of fun stories from childhood. Mikey will be sorely missed.

A memorial and balloon release will be held on May 30^th at 11am inside Goose Creek where Mikey resided with his wife Diana. It will be located at Firehouse #1 by the beach. Arrangements are under the direction of C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Memorial donations may be made to the family.
