Mike Jarvis

James "Mike" Jarvis, 58, of Wortham passed away July 20, 2014 at his residence. He was born August 10, 1955 in St. Louis. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rev. James Gale and Katherine Joyce (King) Jarvis; sister, Sharon Robison; brother, Danny Joe Jarvis. Mike is survived by his daughter, Amanda Dawn Jarvis; grandchildren, Caleb, Jacob and Matthew Petterson; siblings, Norman (Paulette) Jarvis, Dave Jarvis, Sue (Delmar) Bowling, Joyce Smith, Donna (Mikel Porter) Thompson, Cindy (Lee) Gowen, Jane (Harold) Lashley, Crina (Mike) Story; also surviving are numerous nieces and nephews other relatives and friends. Visitation will be Wednesday July 23, 2014 from 5 to 9 pm at the C.Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge. Funeral Service will be 11 am Thursday at the C.Z. Boyer Chapel in Desloge with Pastor Jerry Jo Jarvis officiating. Interment will be at Leadwood Cemetery.
