Michael Mclaughlin

Mike McLaughlin, 57, of Park Hills passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 at his residence. He was born on February 9, 1961 in Lafayette, IN to Donald Henry and Dorothy Mae (Hartman) McLaughlin.

Mike loved his family, friends, car races and going hiking. He enjoyed spending time outdoors with his sons. He was always quick to lend a hand to anyone in need, and was one of the most charming people you could meet. He made the most awesome spaghetti sauce that tasted just like his Mom's and he really enjoyed hosting his family and friends, filling their tummies and their hearts, which he was often busy doing because he made friends everywhere he went. Mike was known to walk up to a stranger and make them laugh just because he thought they looked sad and needed a smile.   

He was preceded in death by his mom and brother, Donald Henry McLaughlin.

Mike is survived by his father, Donald McLaughlin; six children, Amber Saltzman, Autumn McLaughlin, Ariel Thompson, Shelby, Dominick and Milo McLaughlin; five grandchildren, Hunter, Briley, Hailey, Avery and Elena Rae; five siblings, Debbie McLaughlin, Marty McLaughlin and wife Victoria, Winnie Lamartine and husband Bruce, Tina Blanks and husband Marty, Andie Kysar and husband Bill all survive.

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 6, 2018 at 5:00 PM until time of service at 7:00 PM at C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Desloge.
