Michael Johnson

            Michael Johnson, 57, of St. Louis, passed away April 9, 2018 at his residence. He was born January 8, 1961 to the late Patrick Johnson and Marilyn (Mehl) Calvird. Michael was a member of the First Baptist Church in Park Hills. Michael was a very kind hearted and loving person. He helped his mother in raising and caring for many foster children over the years. He was diligent in pursuing his education with hopes to become a lawyer and represent the visually impaired.

            Michael is survived by his brother, Ronnie Calvird, Jr. and wife Linda; nephews, Ronnie Calvird, Ryan Calvird and wife Brittany, Riley Calvird; great niece and nephew, Willow and Remington Calvird; step-father, Ron Calvird and wife Cherie also survive.

            Visitation will be held at C. Z. Boyer & Son Caldwell Chapel in Park Hills, Friday, April 13, 2018 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Graveside services will follow at 1:00 PM at New St. Marcus Cemetery in St. Louis with Rev. Brad Dush officiating.
