Michael Barker

Michael Barker, 59 of Bonne Terre passed away August 17, 2012 at his residence. He was born June 27, 1953 in Whittier, CA. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Bonne Terre and the Bonne Terre Eagles. He was preceded in death by his father, Richard Ralph Barker; aunt, Marjorie Barker; father and mother-in-law, Wilbur and Winona Hooks; sister-in-law, Laura Hooks. Mike is survived by his wife, Rebecca (Hooks) Barker; mother, Jean (Campbell) Barker-Wimer; step-father, Ed Wimer; four sisters, Sue Barker, Mary Barker, Marjorie (Steve) Donovan and Nancy Barker; aunt, Claire Lee; uncle Bill (Mary) Campbell; three sisters-in-law, Karen Hooks, Melissa (Dan) Mabery and Michele (Rev. Russell) Mauldin. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive. Visitation will be Sunday, August 19, 2012 from 6 PM until 8 PM at the C. Z. Boyer & Son Funeral Home in Bonne Terre. Visitation will resume Monday at 9 AM at the First Baptist Church of Bonne Terre with a service at 11 AM with Rev. Ron Poole officiating.
