Melvin Minks

Melvin Minks, 76, of Farmington, passed away May 28, 2014 at Jefferson Mercy Hospital in Crystal City. He was born December 6, 1937 in St. Louis, to the late Clyde Carl and Margaret Jane (Bradfield) Minks. Melvin is a member of the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Farmington.He is preceded in death by his parents; and one son, Paul Alan Minks.Melvin is survived by his wife, Dianne (Carpenter) Minks; children, Dianne Carol Minks, Mark Steven Minks, Michele Yvonne Barragan, and Christopher Michael Minks, all of Farmington, James Paul Minks, and Brittany Carol Minks; siblings, Ivan Minks, June King, Loretta Hanna, Wayne Minks, and Steven Minks.Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Sunday, June 1, 2014 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and will resume at 9:00 AM, Monday, June 2, 2014 at Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints in Farmington. The service will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will immediately follow at Sunset Cemetery on Gravois in St. Louis.
