Melvin Grohman

             Melvin Grohman, 92, of Palmetto, FL, formerly of St. Louis, passed away June 24, 2016 at Rivea Palms in Florida. He was born March 9, 1924 in Vergennes, IL, to the late Paul and Dovie (Moss) Grohman. Melvin was a member of the Lively Stone Tabernacle Church and Teamsters #618.

             He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Leo Grohman and one son, Roger Grohman.

             Melvin is survived by his wife Neoma R. (Sharp) Grohman of Desloge; one son, Byron Grohman also of Desloge; five grandchildren, Tami Boyer, Terry Lynn Grohman, Rashelle Grohman, Bethany Grohman, and Krystal Grohman; four great-grandchildren, Brooke, David, Aubree, and Bryce; one sister, Beatrice Avery.

             Visitation will be held at C.Z. Boyer and Son Funeral Home in Desloge, Wednesday, June 29, 2016, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. The service will be held in the C.Z. Boyer and Son Chapel, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Steve Willeford officiating, assisted by Pastor Larry Baitinger. Interment will follow at Adams Hillcrest in Bonne Terre.
